Príncipe dos Queijos was born out of a genuine love for Azorean culture and a relentless passion for the gastronomic treasures that the islands have to offer. Founded by Milton Bernardo, passionate about the world of cheese and descendant of a long lineage of dairy traders in the Azores, our store aims to preserve and share the unique riches of this region.
Azorean cheeses are produced using traditional techniques handed down from generation to generation, using fresh, pure milk from happy cows that graze in the green fields of the Azorean islands. The volcanic landscape, the mild climate and the rich biodiversity of the region give our cheeses authentic and unique flavors and aromas.
